The Minister of the Planning and Strategic Investment, H.E. Mr. Gastão Francisco de Sousa and NPC’s Deputy Director, Mr. Nelson dos Santos, took part in the price bid opening for the project of “Road Rehabilitation of “Município Roads”, Soibada to Soibada Town, Sta. 0+000 – Sta. 9+791.31 (9.971 Km), Manatuto Municipality (with the reference number TENDER/021/MOP-2023) which was held atNPC’s meeting room.
The price bid opening is a phase, during the procurement process, that comes after the technical bid evaluation. To get to this phase, bidders must have got a minimum score at the technical bid evaluation, as per the bidding documents. Mr. Hermenegildo Fernandes led the price bid opening process, as NPC’s National Procurement Officer, along with Mrs Valeria from the technical team of the Ministry of Public Works.
The Ministry of Public Works is the project owner and the procurement procedure will be based on the legal regime for procurement, public contracts and its infractions, approved by the Decree –Law n.º22/2022, 11th May.
