CNA’s technical team and the Ministry of Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock and Forestry (MAPPF) representatives took part in the technical Proposal Opening for Construction of Maukola-Lomea Irrigation Scheme Covalima Municipality with the reference number: TENDER/030/MAPPF-2025. The meeting was also attended directly by NPC’s Executive Director Mr. Hermingardo Albano Soares. The technical bid opening took place at CNA’s meeting room in Balide – Díli, and it was facilitated by Mrs. Maria Jose Pinto as Goods and Services Coordinator. From the publication of the invitation for bids until the deadline set for bids’ submission – on Monday, May 26, 2025 at 15:00pm - CNA received Eleven (11) bids for the above-mentioned project. In this event, the majority of bidders are from China (6) included Joint Venture, Indonesia (3) included Joint Venture, Timor-Leste (1) and Democratic Republic Congo (1). In accordance with procedural rules, the representatives of each bidder, as well as the Project Owner can participate in the public bid opening session in order to assure the transparency of the public tender process. At the end, all parties signed the minutes of technical bid opening – namely CNA, MAPPF as the project owner and the representatives of each company, who then received a copy of the document.
