CNA Executive Director, Mr. Hermingardo Albano Soares, Deputy Director of CNA, Sr. Nelson dos Santos, together with Coordinators, National and International Advisors held a weekly meeting together with MPIE Principal Advisor, Mr. Julio Tomas Pinto at the CNA Meeting Room, Balide – Dili. The objective of meeting is to update the work of CNA, including (i) Pending and ongoing projects, (ii) Standardization of Tender Documents, and (iii) Preparation of e-procurement services among others. Currently, the Government of Timor-Leste is planning to implement an e-procurement system through the Ministry of Finance, with the support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the European Union. The Executive Director of CNA also presented to the Principal Advisor MPIE about the existing projects that are currently problematic and require particular attentions. To end, the Executive Director also appealed to the CNA team that from now on, all joint evaluation with project owners must be recorded to ensure transparency.
